Extra Perks of Amazon Prime!

I've been a Prime member for a few years now, mostly for the free shipping. But I keep learning about more and more Prime benefits I didn't even know were available. Prime music, and Prime Videos are of limited value to me, because of my internet data caps, but I didn't realize that I could get extra months of Prime for free by submitting a claim when two-day shipping takes longer than two days. I also didn't know about Prime Reading, or about getting 2% back for reloading Amazon gift cards. (I've gotten rid of a lot of them over the years!) they also have unlimited photo storage, which I plan on using for backup when I can get all my photos uploaded - 100 gigs will take months to upload! I found this article that lists 31 extra prime benefits. Not all of them are really worthwhile, but there are some good ones.

I need to re join Prime as soon as I get some writing jobs done so that I don't have to spend so much on shipping every time I order something.

That's the main reason why I have it. I order a LOT from them, and it's well worth not having to pay the shipping costs, even when I choose slower shipping to get the free $1 digital credit.

@connierebel Ooh that would be a nice perk, how does that work? I had it for ahwile and then couldn't afford it. Do you still have to pay for a year at a time?

@connierebel that's part of the problems i have with prime. i don't think i i can stomach paying the 90 bucks or whatever it is for prime, even though i do order quite a bit from them

Maybe he could share his membership with you. They let families share it.

I can't really watch the movies, since I have a very limited data allowance with my internet. I supposed I could do it on my phone, but the screen is so small it's not really worth it.

Oh wow! That is so cool! I don't order enough things to have prime, but that is really cool with all the benefits it has.

I order all the time, so it's definitely worth it for me, and the extra benefits are just the cherry on top.
