Happy National Cordon Bleu Day! What's for dinner?

So I found out earlier today that it was National Cordon Bleu day so guess what we are having for dinner tonight. Yup you guessed it! We are also having stuffing and salad though, to you know complete the meal. What are you having tonight?

@artherchappell swedish meatballs or just regular ones? i don't know that i have had any meatballs in gravy unless you count the swedish ones in gravy

Sounds delicious! I love Cordon Bleu but have never made it. I'm making tacos tonight, the salad stuff is going in the tacos along with the meat. Your dinner sounds so good.

This confused me as Cordon Bleu means a high standard of cooking. Then I looked it up and found it also refers to a dishwhich I'd never heard of before.

@mskita420 You're welcome I emailed a few people and they didn't know it was a dish either they all thought the same as me that it was a term for cookery excellence so I don't feel stupid anymore

I've always wanted to try this meal but never had haha I had to look it up to see exactly what it was. We had chicken, a baked potato, and some orange peppers. A nice simple meal.
