I have a friend who are about to dump his work. Seriously, he loves his work but underpaid. What is the best advise you can give. Maybe yours is better than mine.

Underpaid well I think he should do it and get a new job but sometimes if you love your job and your happy with it getting low salary doesn't matter but if you know that you deserve more and you badly need cash then I do suggest getting a new job would be good

That's my advise as well. Maybe he's scared to go out on his comfort zone.

@dhoyalahoy nah sometimes if you get along with those co workers its not easy to leave the job I mean making good friendship with your co workers is good imagine getting a new job sometimes Is too risky you need to prepare and settle everything first and there's a lot of "WHAT IF" in our mind if you know what I mean :)

@Allan12 the "What If" won't be answered unless you try.

If he didn't like it, better find another job. Be in a place that he can feel satisfied.

The problem with having a job that you love but doesn't pay well enough is that if you end up working a million hours a week just to get by financially, you might get overworked and no longer love your job as a result.

You'll be fed up and worn out soon and hate what you're doing. Am I right?

Well, the only solution here is to move up! If there is hiring for higher position then he can grab it. Career advancement is what he needs. He loves his job, stay for the career.

@dhoyalahoy Yes, be promoted from within. Don't look for another job. He loves his job so don't go out of the organization he belongs to. Don't ever look for comparison, just stay. Tenure is what it is.
