What country you are from?
Love is love. never think of any religion. people will have issues in each and everything you do. So, would you stop doing everything. I understand how important parents are to us, and it is very important to respect them. But, does that mean, you will leave your love, isn't the love important to you. If parents are to be respected then your love is also to be respected. The Bible or the Geeta or the Koran, whatever you say, never says not to marry people of other religion. The religion made by us, the religion made by we people says this. Let the world go aside, and you with your love go out of the way. Once you guys are together the society will forget everything. Take it as a challenge and go for it my friend. I really don't want to see a love getting wasted.

@addy007 Go for it bro. Don't think about anything. In India these days we have many laws to protect this issues. Just go for it. Don't let her go.

It is very unfortunate. the whole religion thing should not hold you back, but I understand about the status thing for your country. It is a modern Romeo and Juliet.
Love always finds its way though!

What "god" wouldn't want your love to flourish. Sounds more like man trying to manipulate and say who you can and cant marry. Your "god" knows what is in your heart and your head. With religion being so open ended and always changing, so must the world to change. Life is about being good, its about serving those you love with respect, and always keeping love in your heart FOR EVERYONE.
I wouldn't be apart of something that separates good moral people and singles them out. All for what? Living life just as "god" has permited. With your own will.
I really feel for you. You can't help how you feel. Can't help who you love. Doesn't make it wrong. Sometimes it just makes things hard. Good Luck my friend.

@addy007 I didn't mean that you manipulated. I just feel that over centuries religious head figures have told people who they can and can't marry. Whether it be political or it be racist. God wants you to be happy and do good. I doubt he condemns some but not others for who they are based on their belief. We are all here on the same rock listening to men talk. Who knows what's really true and can prove it beyond a doubt.

@addy007 I'm from India too & I understand your pain. Just try as far as possible to gently talk to both sides or involve any tolerant relatives or family friends. If nothing works, then be brave & proceed with the marriage
