They Say 'No Man Is Above the Law,' but What If You're 'American'?

Christianity says 'we are not under the law, but under grace'; and obviously that's only true until you interact with other people Then in school, we learn the pledge of allegiance (to the U.S. Flag), and learn/get-hypnotized-into-believing that we are allied with the nation (making us co-allies with our fellow citizens), all under 'God' (or 'whatever you call the power that makes everything work out the way it does' ). http://soulweave.blogspot.com/2017/04/relativity-people-relative-to-nation.html So there's God, greater than law, greater than nation, greater than individual? Or how would you put that hierarch in the right order?

God is god. Law of men is for people under the nation. law of God is for people of every nations. However, non-believers are there. They're under of law of men and God as well. But to give respect on their stand, let say law of men. Still everyone is under of laws. God puts legislator and law maker to cascade an orders. Law is above all people under that nation. Even you are the maker of that law. That's how it works.

But in America, don't The People put the legislator & law-maker in place?

@mythociate I believe the people put people in position in every nation. Law is made to have an order. We should abide or get penalized. God allows people to rule according to what he has designed.

Well first it's me, then god, and then whoever else sheds the most blood to gain my favor. Well, supernaturally ranked. If it's normal rank I'm somewhere in the middle.

@OneOfMany Because--for the most part--are bodies are reacting just perfectly to the stimuli we set them in; so we distract the conscious mind to keep it resting out-of-the-way, and let the subconscious minds make sure everything is taken care of!

@mythociate If we're here to relieve suffering, then that's what I have been trying to do. Even in high school when I used to 'faith heal' people from common colds and stuff. Although that was merely a 'mind over matter' thing.

The 'Law' that Christianity says we are not subject to refers specifically to the Jewish Law, meaning that part of the books of what we now call the 'Old Testament' which is divided into the Law, the Prophets and the Songs. Jesus demonstrated that we are not above the law of the land when he took a coin and asked whose face appeared on it, saying "Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's and to God that which is God's".

The only way to 'break the law' (not 'to disobey the rules,' but rather to "defeat the law, to conquer it") then, is to create GREATER laws, yes?

God comes first, but of course in our interactions with other people, we need some laws to make sure everything works smoothly.

Not quite. People use laws to make everything work smoothly for themselves, and the people who don't 'use' the laws are lucky and/or smart enough to stay out of the 'users'' way!

Trump is above the law. He could start pimping out kids and get away with it. While yes he can be charged and even convicted he would not be punished. It’s basically “you’re guilty, go home”
