This was one of my favorite childhood Disney movies. I am excited to see the new movie that is out now. Has anyone seen it? Is it as good as the animated version ?

I personally think the animated version is better. In this new one..a lot of the dialogs are the same....nothing surprisingly new. Personally i don't think it is Emma Watson's best work. ...the other actors are also just ok. I think the kids of this generation might like it more than the older generation. They could have given it a new twist.

That's disappointing. I'm probably still going to go see it though. I'm still a kid at heart & love the animated movies. Most of the humor is geared towards the adults.

I did. I am not sure if you are talking about the one released last month featuring Emma Watson? I loved it, just that it was little more musical than my choice, else it was great.

I have not seen and don't really plan on seeing it either. Beauty and the Beast is one of my least favorite Disney movies so I don't care to watch it. My friends have seen it though and they did like it but then again they like the animated version as well.
