My boyfriend and I are planning on moving. It's really my first time. I have only lived on my own four just about 4 years. I only moved across the street from my mom lol. We're planning Florida. I didn't want to tell anyone because I knew the responses weren't going to be positive. Everyone is telling me of all the reasons I should consider staying. I need and want to do what's best for my family. It's a hard enough desicion as it is. I am scared for many reasons. But it's something I want to do. I wish people could be more supportive of that.

Whatever everybody else has to say about the move really doesn't matter. The decision is between you and your boyfriend. You both know what is best for both of you. People should support you and stand behind your decision. It is difficult to move and it would help if you have the support of others.

It's hard....But where we are now for many reasons we struggle too much. We are moving because we both have more opportunities to get out of the rut that we are in. I don't want to go but I do at the same time. I feel if we don't go now while the opportunity is upon us then I probably never will.

@Kymmie If you don't go you will always wonder if you should have.

I'm sure its scary. But depending on which area you move to, you'll have two sets of family down there on your side, plus what, one on his side. So its not like you'd be alone, if you lived near them. But if you moved too far.. would you be okay alone all the time?

Moving is never an easy decision to make. You and your boyfriend need to do what you guys feel is best for you and your family.

I don't know but I never took any decision without consent of my father. I always used to ask him before doing anything new in.life.

Unfortunately my mom's not a very positive person.
