Ok folks, I know I have been gone since February. I have been very busy. I did land a job with the company I was testing with. It was not the exact one I applied for but I did work for a similar project. The project I was put on was not 40 hours a week but in hindsight, this is a good thing. It kept me pretty busy with the 30+ hours per week and I am not sure I could have handled the 40 hours per week. Now the project is over with and I am once again on the hunt for another "egg" to go into my work at home basket! Lots of things have happened in my life since February. My aunt Helen died recently. I will write about this in another post. The kids have been growing up so fast and my granddaughters are also growing too fast! Things have been sad, fun and interesting all rolled into one life. I will be here catching up as much as I can the rest of this month, unless I land another job that is!

@DianneN Thank you very much. She is in a much better place. She was very uncomfortable the last few months of her life.

My condolences especially to your mom. But at least she can relax more now. Not that I don't want you here, but I hope you get another gig.

Thank you very much. She is so ready to get the house cleaned out and sorted. My aunt Lois wants to have a big yard sale to get rid of some of the nicer things my aunt Helen had. My Mama is ready to give it all to Good Will and get it over with. She told me she was not willing to set out in the hot summer sunshine for weekends on end trying to get rid of that stuff. I don't blame her. I might consider a consignment shop but not a yard sale. Not to mention, where are they going to keep all of that stuff at between the yard sales?

It's always a shame when a relative passes and you have to figure out what to do with all the junk (good or bad) they accumulated @Shellyann36 your mom is probably right or else she can simply let Lois figure it out on her own.

OMG, that has to be horrendous @Shellyann36 I went through mom's stuff and I thought that was bad but to go through the belonging of 2 relatives would have been so much worse.

I'm never caught up here at myLot, but maybe if you do that catching up you will earn at least the minimum to get paid next month. I'm still over into the traffic exchanges and they are almost all I do online. I only take a little time each day to come in here....and sometimes write a blog post.

@Shellyann36 Here's to hoping you'll be able to do just that. If nothing else, maybe you can come on for an hour or two on the weekends.

Well right now since I am trying to get sales both online, offline, etc and a few odd jobs here and there besides my disability money to help keep us afloat $$ wise, so in turn, I really can relate.

@GardenGerty it was for a company that rates web pages. They have projects that they work on. I was happy to land the gig! My aunt is in a better place now.

I've noticed you hadn't been around much lately but didn't realize it was because you were getting an early start on Easter. With those eggs, you know? That's one thing that's so great about a site like this, you can do whatever is needed in your life and still be remembered once you return. I hope you are able to find more eggs or more baskets to put them into. Sorry to hear about your aunt and the work your mom and her sisters have to sort through her things. I've been trying to get rid of clutter for a couple of years now. My problem is it would have been much easier when I was younger, but then I thought I needed more things, now when I'm trying to get rid of stuff I'm more tired and working more hours making it that much more difficult. I like taking things to salvation army or good will over doing yard sales too. If your other aunt gets her way with a yard sale idea it could be just one and then donate the leftovers. I think when there's furniture and appliances you can ususally make some money, but when it's mostly clothes and little things people don't want to pay much.

Most of the things that are going into the yard sale are clothes. There are clothes they found that still had the tag on them. After seeing the mess my aunt left I am starting to wonder if I am a hoarder myself? I am really taking a look at what I have in my home now.
