Disgusting thing to watch while eating

Lately I have been catching up with all the Bones series. I think it is at its end now so I am watching all the whole thing over to catch what I missed. Plus I liked the series mostly because of all the characters personal lives and trials. and sometimes it tells things I never knew about different disorders and such.
Problem is, I keep forgetting and start watching while eating and then just have to stop because of the disgusting scenes it has with blood and gore and insides etc. pretty gross at times. Did you like the series? ever make the mistake of trying to eat and something disgusting comes on?

We don't have TV in any of the shared spaces in our house @bunnybon7 so, no. Tried to watch Bones a few times, but just not my thing.

i used to just love watching detective shows and this one started out just because it had mystery but got stuck on it to find out what happened with all the love connections plus it has a lot of comedy. i was hooked by the time i figured there was a lot of gross parts.

I did or do like the series. I always have a hard time eating while watching it as well and I am not really a squeamish person. I hate that the series is ending but they have been on for a long time. I wonder what the actors will get into next?

@Shellyann36 i am planning on watching some of the other things they play in but so far have not found any except for the guy that plays Booth. there is a lot of comedy in it also and sad and happy moments.

@bunnybon7 I do as well. I know I like several of them. I would hate for them to just lose their careers.

I haven't seen that show .. But last night, after dinner, my husband and I decided to eat some chocolates and then one of the stories on the Current Affairs show was about creepy worms coming out of chocolates bought in one of the cheap shops .. eew! .. I was a bit put off ..

@bunnybon7 I think as we grow older, we become a little bit sensitive so we get put off quickly..

This is why It's better to eat on the table with out the TV. But this morning I didn't do that and went straight to the living room watching tv while eating my breakfast.

I think I'm 'educated' enough not to be "too disgusted by something I see" to eat anyway ... maybe when I was younger I thought of 'eating' as "putting the energy-blocks into my food-door and grinding it into fuel to send down my throat," but now I know the process is actually a little more ... icky.

I could watch surgeries and go to lunch afterward. I love medical stuff. I had to do a tour of duty in the OR in nursing school..

No, when we are eating, we don't do anything, just focus with our meal
