After I write this short post, I am going to take a short rest to get some of my energy back.
And then, and then... guess what?
I am going to garden in my backyard. Yes, I am so excited as the weather is
finally up for it and I want to take full advantage of it.
Of course, I won't be able to stay too long as I tire way too fast, but at least, I will be able to do something.
Being able to garden a bit is a moment that I cherish a lot and that I am very thankful for it.
Have you started your gardening fun yet?

@PainsOnSlate My Mom and Dad always told me that it was a waste of time to plant before the Victoria Day weekend.

I am wishing we had the $$ to have someone help us get some of the overbrush cut down and back so we could consider getting some flowers again. The way my Health has been lately, I am limited to what I can do and since my husband works swing this does not really allow any time in the day for him either.

@KrauseHome, Sorry that your health is not what it used to be. Would be nice to have the overbrush cut down, maybe you will find the money somehow.

I hope you enjoyed your gardening.
I transplanted a spider plant, cleaned out the pot my lillies are coming up in, and need to re-plant an asparagus fern. We've not bought our flowers yet this year, and I don't have any luck growing food plants.

Yes, I was outside a little bit ago and pulled some weeds, washed out the ole doghouse Ally never uses and then she wanted to play water sports. I always make it a point to take it slow and easy so as not to re injure those dadgum nerves. My new motto is to do a little and not hurt myself but that little bit adds up over time.

I was a kid when I last gardener. I didn't like it at all. My job was right pull weeds and I'd get all dirty. I don't remember of having any gloves either. Now if I vould, I would give anything you garden. I would like cucumbers and tomatoes. Maybe I could grow them in milk jugs. It would be great if they would work.

@Jessicalynnt , You don't really need a gardener, you just have to read on the net and experiment.

I don't garden because I can't keep anything alive except kids and animals apparently. Lol. I hope you enjoy your gardening though! =)

I don't garden because I don't think I can handle all the work. But I do enjoy seeing other people's gardens.

@dramagirl26 Admiring other people's gardening is sure less tiresome , but not so much fun.

Something to look forward to. I am among the flowers and trees every morning and I do a little pruning as I go along. It's always a great feeling.

No gardening here yet, we still have snow but soon, very soon I think. I had a little greenhouse last year that worked out very well so I'm looking forward to it again this year. We're planting carrots, cucumber and peas. I have to think about what my husband and son will eat (which isn't much vegetable wise) but they will eat those. Last year I planted cherry tomatoes which my son loved to pick but he wouldn't let us eat them. I did sneak one every now and again when he wasn't looking though.

I am living in an apartment now, so the only garden I have is a small herb garden on the windowsill. When I was younger, my mother had a beautiful flower garden in the front of the house and my father grew all sorts of vegetables in the backyard. The smell of flowers every spring was a great way to welcome people to the house and the garden in the back provided delicious fresh vegetables all the way until fall.
