Attacks and other horrors in our society are sadly commonplace today.
Are you more vigitant when you are visiting places where there are lots of people?
Last Friday it was a terror attack in central Stockholm (Sweden). Luckily I was at home.
I´m never afraid that something shall happen to me.
But today, I saw some strange people in town. Not so nice.

Be careful because there's a lot going on in the world. And now days there are more terror attacks then there ever been.

Thankfully I live in an area with not lots of people, although I live 50 miles south of Chicago I don't go there much. But yes it's a pretty sad world we live in.

@zoega_59 Very true, although sadly humans have been killing humans since the beginning of time and I don't see that stopping anytime soon.

In addition to the 9/11 attack, we also have a problem with mass shootings. I am certainly much more cognizant of my environment than I used to be. I don't take anything for granted and I don't assume everything is “normal”. Normal for me now is being on the lookout and constant watch. I remember when church buildings never locked the doors. But now people can't even go to a Bible study and expect to walk out alive! It's ridiculous! You have to be on guard. There's no other way to be.
