Vacation or Staycation?

My news feed was flooded with photos of my friends for their holy week vacation. Some went to the beach, others went to places I've never been. And me, as ever boring.
The boyfriend went for a ride together with his scooter friends. He posted photos of them telling me that they are safe. Thank God.
Maybe later we will have our so called Bisita Eglesia where we visit churches here in Davao to pray.
Are you having your vacation or staycation?
Photo I grabbed from iPhone wallpaper.

I'm staying at home. Call me old-school but I believe that Holy Week ain't the right time to go on a vacation.

i am a stay-cation old lady; i cannot bear too much hotness of the air now, i don't want to be sun-or heat-stroked.

@JustBhem oh, you join the ranks with 2 of my colleagues who stay awake the whole night because of this KDrama thingy.

I don't remember the last time I went on a vacation. People often think it must be nice not having to work, but not being able to work really sucks. Free time is great when you can afford to do enjoyable things with it, but not when you have so much of it and find yourself scrambling to find ways to afford living. If you stayed put for your school vacation week to save money to pay off schooling that's a really good idea. When I was in college I found that the students on OSAP (the college loan here, which was most students in my class) loved to waste money at the bars, at hair salons, and buying fancy name brand clothes, while the few of us in the class who weren't on OSAP spent much of our time outside of school at our part time jobs.

That is very cool, a friend also referred me about that. I can pamper myself at home. Thanks. I will do that.

@JustBhem If you feel like some cheap pampering see if you can find some diatomacious earth. Here it's sold in our local health food stores and it's super cheap. It makes a great mud mask!
