When is 'enough'?

I had just such a moment last spring, where I threw a bag of goodies at my friend. She was being absolutely unbearable (obviously). After I threw the bag at her, I walked all the way home, including up 500 steps up the mountain. Didn't have anything to do with her for several days, which was quite a feat as she lives a couple doors down the street. It was a very pleasant week for me then. We're friends again, and she's behaving herself now. She was lost without me.
