Co-incidence or God-incidence?

Yesterday my grandson and I were heading to Walmart by way of Dairy Queen. We were in the car, just ready to pull out of the parking lot at DQ when in my rear-view mirror, I saw an older man with a walker trying to get his balance.
He wobbled and before we could get out to help him, he fell backwards. Thank the good Lord he fell onto the cedar chips around the shrubs and not the cement.
Of course we rushed over and my grandson helped pull him to his feet. He was still awfully unsteady and told us he has ALS.
His wife came out then (I think...hope...she had left him in the car and he decided to try to walk in.)
He wasn't hurt, but how long might he have lain there if we hadn't seen him? It was so sad, but I do believe it was a God-incidence we were there right when we needed to be.

I do believe so too and I am glad that you were. He could have laid their for a while or he could have been hurt badly had he hit the cement.

That's true. I remember how horrible it was when I fell on my back on the cement patio last summer.

@1creekgirl that would have been terrible. Hope you weren't hurt too badly.

@Happy2BeMe Praise God I didn't break any bones. I did get a concussion and am now having some hip pain that is coming from back problems which were made worse by the fall. But still have much to be thankful for.

I would like to think that most people would have helped if they had seen him. I couldn't have pulled him up by myself, though without my grandson to help.

Sounds like you were his guardian angels to help him when he fell. I agree God-incidence
