A Good Place to Walk

Today was a beautiful day for walking. It was hot but a nice breeze was blowing through the leafy trees. I completed my two mile walk and snapped a few photos along the way. Wild honeysuckles were out and they smelled so sweet. I thought about breaking off a few sprigs to plant in pots on my deck but I was afraid they would die just as my wild roses did.
It was nice being out on a pretty day. I surprised myself by not getting too tired. I met friends along the trail and stopped to chat and still made good time. This trail Is so much better than the one at the hospital. Trees are huge which makes it shadier and cooler. Where is your favorite place to walk

@RubyHawk We have a beautiful state park about 10 minutes from here, but I would have to get a ride there. It's one of those places I used to go all the time when I was young and single and had weekends free. I'd go for long walks and I'd even bring a blanket and a book so once the walk was done I could stretch out and read for a while.

Nice that you found this trail. I like having my own spot to visit.

Glad you enjoyed your walk today. I don't walk as often as I should but we have some nice parks with walking paths.

So, why didn't you include at least one of the photos here that you snapped on your walk, hmm? There are quite a few plants that will regenerate or whatever it may be called just by planting a sprig into the dirt. But, I've found that you need to be on top of keeping it watered especially if the weather down there is hot already. I don't know whether roses would work that way, but i do that with mums and most recently with several annuals that I get in hanging baskets.
It works well for I think it was pansy's verbenum, (when I have that one in my yard, I can remember the correct spelling), and many others. I'll just put it into the pot where it is and water it as good as possible and then again every day or so until it takes hold.

@RubyHawk Maybe the size of your images are too large? I don't remember what size it takes but you can ask owl or jj they would remember. I've never had any issues with uploading images even though I don't change the sizes too often.

@MarshaMusselman I don't know how to change sizes but all my pictures must be the same size and a few submitted.

I would like to submit my pictures. I have managed to get a few on as you have probably seen and they look good but most of the time they won't submit. I have gotten a few wild plants to take root. Honeysuckle vine, wild ivy, and fern. My deck is full shade and will only grow shade plants, I used to have other plants until all the trees grew and gave too much shade.

Anywhere where people will not notice me, and a place with beautiful trees perfect for summer and a shade of shelter for me to write poems.

Glad it was nice out for you to go on a walk. It was rainy and wet all day today. Was stuck inside.
I like walking to the beach which is 10minutes down the road by car.
