Importance of Zero

Zero is a very mysterious number. An extra zero make a huge benifit and omission of one zero creates a huge loss.It was invented by Indians. Nobody could understand it.

There is nothing concrete to claim that zero was invented by Indian alone. Every civilization can claim on zero, because zero is the start ,zero is the beginning and any civilization who kept track of their beginning and evolution knew their zero. I think the oldest civilization can claim on its invention.

No in ancient. Egypt and romantic numbers have no zero. It must be in India because Indus civilization is one of the oldest.
