How late do you usually stay up? Are you early to bed and early to rise or do you prefer to stay up late and sleep in?

I stay up late. But it depends on the season.

I try not to go to bed late. I try to go to bed as early as possible, especially considering I know I will be up early. My kids are usually early risers.

Yes, kids can change your schedule a lot.

Hi Ed. I don't stay up late anymore if I can help it. I can't stay up past 11 at night at the latest. I used to stay up way past that into the early morn but I guess I have got a routine now. I used to work overnights and I hated it. I am a morning person.

I used to stay up well past midnight back when I was in college, but since then I get to bed early since I need to wake up earlier.

It varies a great deal for us due to scheduling, etc. However, we do get enough sleep!

Well as long as you get enough sleep it doesn't really matter when you get it.

It depends, last night I went to bed at eight. Night before that I went to bed at 1am

That is a big difference! I tend to keep a more constant schedule since I don't do well changing it up often.

I've been going to bed later and later recently. I always used go when my children went to bed, or not long after (sometimes even before them!) so I'd be in bed by 9:30/10pm. I'd be really tired by then. But the past couple of months, I've been staying up later, maybe until midnight. Always get up around the same time (between 6am and 8am depending whether it's a school/work day or other plans) except on a Sunday when, although I'm usually awake, my partner encourages me to have a lie in while he makes a cup of tea and watches cartoons with the boys!

Because I work 3rd shift my sleeping habits are a little screwy to say the least. I wake up at 10pm and am at work by 11pm I get out at 7am and if all goes good and I am not super tired I try to stay up until 2pm- so then I can go to sleep and get 8 hours.. But it never really works out that way.. or rarely does.. I often an caught in a vicious cycle. I get tired when I get home and fall asleep for a couple hours or so. then I am up and have to force myself to go back to sleep by 4 or 5 so I can get enough sleep before the alarm goes off at 10pm to feel well rested. It never quite works out well for me when I take the naps during the day.
