I picked it just for you.
Today has been a pretty active day. I shall go to bed early I am sure.
Among other things I have taken down a bed that is in the room we intend for an office.
I also used the push mower to mow the front lawn. I hope to use the rider for the back lawn, but hubby says a circuit breaker has been thrown that is keeping it from starting.
It was good exercise.
We enjoyed church this morning, and then took a little drive. I would like to find some straw bales for gardening, but the store where we went is out of them.
I have washed up a lot of the bedding from that room.
No wonder I am tired.

The flower was blooming at my brother's house. It is a purple iris.

Just two lots over from me is an empty lot. There is about a four foot square of dark purple iris. I do not know if they will bloom this year as the guy that mows mowed them to the ground last fall.

I remember, you moved to an arid and hot place. So many of our traditional flowers have to have cold in the winter to make blooms.

Years ago I had an electric but no weather safe place to store it. I found it not to be heavy duty enough for my lawn.

I have not tried that, yet. What I want the straw for is to make a "potato tower". I saw one online.
