I really don't like gold. I prefer to wear silver or platinum. Gold I save for something more special like the cross I wear or in case my boyfriend decides to ask me to marry him, so then my engagement and wedding bands would be gold. I think everyday things that i wear will remind silver and not so everyday/extra special will remain gold.
