Face wash or Soap? Which you prefer?

Some beauticians recommend face wash give result to pimples or some skin problem in face. Also saying soap makes skin rougher, while face wash make skin softer and shine. Which is better soap or face wash?

I prefer glycerine based soap like pears instead of facewash because facewash feels sticky and oily on the skin, even when you have washed the face.

Face wash as i am allergic to Ivory soap.
