This what I think of msyelf: (I have blogged on this at many places:
Lets look at things this way - I am a citizen of the three physical dimensional (plus the fourth dimension being time) cosmos which itself may be one cosmos in the multitude of multiple dimensional cosmos (plural).
My cosmos contains my universe which contains my local cluster of galaxies which contains the Milky Way Galaxy (My Galaxy), on one of the outer peripheries of one of my galaxy's spiral arms is Sol (my star) which contains my planet Earth which contains the continent which contains my country which contains the state in which I currently reside in, which contains my city of residence which contains the suburb I live in, which contains the street I live on, which contains my house.
My universe is estimated to be around 10-15 billion years, old, my star -Sol or Sun a middle aged second generation 5 billion year star, life on my planet is estimated to have evolved around 3-4 billion years ago, my species around 2-4 million years ago and I'll consider myself fortunate if I live even for one-tenth of a millennium.
On a cosmic scale, even my galaxy may appear as just a blemish and may be unnoticeable in the fabric of space, and I would not even be the size of a speck- but - the ripple that I (any human) could cause in the still waters (the cosmos) could change the course of history, of space of existence/s. So why should I limit myself to a country or a race or a caste or a religion or a continent or a creed (narration intentionally not in order)? As I said - I am a citizen of the cosmos, or a multitude of cosmos (plural)
There can never be anyone else like me at this point in space in this given instant of time ever. I am unique (and so is every other creature!).
Oh! The Creator of these wonders! I thank thee!
Can I be more explicit in believing myself? I don't think so.

i can only be myself. What i may be may well change over time , but it is still only me being myself. Even when acting it is still myself at that time . Perception of self may change, but self remains the same

Absolutely and its something that i encourage with my kids too....My belief is that if you arent true to yourself you'll never be able to find true internal happiness...mimicing others serves no long term purpose nor are there any benefits to you personally...I am me daily and if ppl dont care for how I look, talk, dress, act, etc etc etc then they can turn and walk the other way...bottomline is this, I am happy and content with who I am...I have peace, inner strength, love, a family that loves me (family beign my husband, kids and friends/their kids) and am a good person...thats all that matters

everybody believes in themselves, you do too otherwise you would not have asked such a question. self-belief does waver sometimes but most of the times you are sure that you can pull it through.

Most days, yes.
Yesterday, yes.
Today no.
Tomorrow, maybe.

Well you can be entirely yourself only when amongst famly and friends. But in the wider world, where you come into contact with people who you are not compatible with, "being yourself" can result in conflict, so we all wear masks, and shelter behind politeness, just so we get through life with the least conflict.

Yes of course!! But the true answer is in the question as you asked "do you believe in being yourself" only the individual concerned will know the answer and there are many many conatations the power of the human mind is imeasureable as we only use 20/30% of our brains capacity depending on your individual IQ. So to finish i think with the start DO YOU BELIEVE IN BEING YOURSELF.

Of course I do believe in myself. Why shouldn't I? In fact I am grateful that I am what I am. I have people who love me, and I love myself too. Life is too short to think about not loving your own self and not believing in yourself. Have faith.

Most definately I do and I would rather be me than anyone else. People either like me for who and what I am, or it is their loss, not mine. LOL
We always encouraged our son to be himself, stand tall and have confidence in himself. We taught him that he is a very important person, an individual and could do anything he chose, as long as it wasn't illegal plus he couldn't harm anyone. :)

If i don't then who will? So yes i do believe in myself but i don't believe!!! There are multipul definitions to your question so the answer is in your own question as you asked DO YOU BELIEVE IN YOURSELF?

i believe in being myself as long as i'm alone. once i'm around other people, i think that it's important to observe social norms, such as wearing clothes and not scratching inappropriate places at inappropriate times. then again, i think of myself as a social, well-mannered person, so i guess i am being myself when i'm around other people too. unless i'm just kidding myself???
