When Was The Last Time You Were Really Happy?

I was watching a TV program, actually it was the start of a series, when this gal in there kept on seeing a billboard, etc with these words on it, and so she decided to uproot her life and just move to where she felt she would be happy.
So many times especially when we were younger, this might be something many of us would do, or have done. Maybe it took moving around a lot like I did to finally be able to settle down somewhere. Maybe for others, changing careers a few, or getting your first book published, your first home, etc.
Some of the ones in here who are in their early 30s and younger might still be looking for it, and thinking it will come with Marriage and kids. But whatever it is, finding that something makes it all worth while. Even with all the Financial woes and other things going on in my life right now, what makes me really Happy is being able to wake up next to my husband every morning in a home I know even if things are tight, we are buying and in the end everything is going to be alright.

I know what you mean. With my Health and other issues I have been facing right now, it is hard to find the time to really want to feel Happy.

So glad to hear that you have your Silver Lining! I love my family but I feel that we are far from truly happy. We have too many financial burdens tying us down. I must get back into my positive way of thinking.

Before I got the serious infection and ended up in the hospital almost a month ago, I really though things were improving and I was on my way back... Now it is a day by day moment and counting things until I know totally what is up.

I've been happy most of my older life. I get depressed for a day sometimes but I always get out of it. I do take an antidepressant.

Well for me I never allow mine to get to the point where I feel I need an Antidepressant but there are times I get in a funk and have to talk or sometimes write myself out of it.

I am always happy despite of the ups and downs of my story called life. Yeah atleast I try to be. There are so many things that makes me happy and gives me a chance to thank Almighty.
How could you not be happy when every little while your little kids hug you and tell you that they love you or give a little peck on your cheeks. Its just so heavenly.

Oh, glad to see that you have a loving husband. :)
Good question. I'm not sure when the last time I was happy was. Recently got my bank account set up with the help of my dad. Trying out working online for a bit. So that's nice.
But the biggest thing that's coming to my mind now is last year. Last year, I finished my undergraduate degree exams. It was the last exam I had to answer. I was waiting for it to all get over. Got distracted and stuff while studying.
Anyway, it finally ended and when it did... oh boy, I was just beyond happy! Biggest smile on my face you'd ever see! :D Was kind of in a dark place then 'cause it felt like a lot of pressure but managed to come out of it doing well and having some freedom from college. Now gotta figure out how to proceed but for now, everything's just dandy. ^_^
