Coupon Shopping Trip - Total $31.75 - I Did Not Pay That

Last night I went into town for Tony, he wanted to shop at walmart so I stopped by y favorite Publix grocery store to grab a few of the deals on the last day of the sale.
I bought :
5- Cans of Yes soup $2.69 each on sale $2.00 each - Used two 1.50 off 2 mft. coupons and 1.00 off one mft. coupon AND $5.00 off 5 store coupon = 1.00 for all Five
2 -Green giant frozen veggies buy one get one free $1.99 - Used .50 off two mft. coupons = $1.49 for two
2- Special K cereal $3.63 on sale buy one get one free - no coupon = $3.63 for two
2 - Silk Almond milk -$3.29 on sale $2.50 - Used $1.00 off one mft. coupon = $3.00 for two
Grand total without sales or coupons was $31.75
I paid $9.62 tax included!
Total savings $22.13

We Indians generally not prefer processed food
Instead we prepare soups and bread(roti) on our home.
Generally we go to vegetable and fruit market and bargain there on prices.
Its depend on one' s capacity how much he can save

Good job with the coupons. The only thing you bought that I would have purchased was the frozen vegetables. I don't bother with coupons because they are almost always for processed foods that we don't eat.
I save money by buying things as they are on sale and stocking up--like pork one week, beef the next.

I haven`t been buying like this but I need something fast since Tony is sick, I have been for the longest just getting the animal feed and paper and cleaning stuff with coupons.
