Good Morning everyone & Happy Wednesday. It's going to be a great day today as it's gonna be 80 degrees :).
So yesterday I had my appointment with the Cardiologist. We got there at 215 and they took us in early. Had an EKG first & then met with the doctor. Everything looked good and no changes from the last visit. I did get the go ahead to move on with surgery. We are scheduling surgery for the end of May. I won't know for sure what date as I have to wait til they call me.
They said I will be in the hospital 2 weeks if all goes well but could be a month. I am having a heart valve replacement done as mine is leaking and that's what is causing my left ventricle to be large. Their hoping with this surgery it will help make the left ventricle shrink some.
So that is all that happened. Once i know the exact date i will let you all know. I'm not exactly sure how long it takes for the scheduler to call and set up an appointment. She was going to inform them today about it. But I will definitely keep you all informed as soon as I know.
So that is all I have to report for today. Have a great day!

@marlina because i have heart, lung & all kind of other issues. My creatinine level always messes up during surgery so i have to be on IV fluids etc. They just want to be cautious is all.

@Blondie2222 Yes, they sure want to make sure that you can get to the toilet, and then manage to get out of the toilet.
I think you can do some stretching exercise now to exercise the muscles.
It will help you to recover a bit faster.

@happy2beme yes we been waiting a year to have it done and finally everyone is on the same page and gave me the go ahead. It is a risky surgery but their stating I would do well since i'm the healthiest I have been in awhile.
