One person out of every 11 people here' in The USA has doabetes .Hundreds more 'Americans have the disease and do not even know it. so be sure to have the test for it' annually. Keep fit and keep the fat from around your miiddle will help to keep you from the disease. ILf you have parents who both have diabetes to be sure to keep active , eat proplerly and avoid stress.You have ore chances of gettig diabetres. than the average person. Also keep your weight down. Losing just fifteen of'the wieght you needto lose will help immensely in keeping good control of your blood sugar. If you have it be proactive and attend the free seminars gven by diabetes educators in our local hospitals. Y ou will get new up to date information, make Friends and' learn how to live with diabetes and have a happy productive life.You also will find comfort in knowing other have' it and live great lives anyway. I am a volunteer diabetes advocate' and try to post frequently about the disease and have had type 2 since fifty and am now ninetty so t hats forty years.I'm in control and am a healthy diabetic lol. My entire mother`s side of the family had diabetes, My dad had diabetes and I was good till I turned 42 and I have had diabetes since. I need to lose 25 pounds, I will be thin! and I have only lost 8 pounds so far this year.

I need to lose the 25 I gained back Im so ashaed hat I let that happen but the good news is Im'in tight c o\ntrol of my blood sugar.
