The Mouse on the Sofa

I thought I had a visitor staying the night.I decided to give the house a good clean, as you do.
After finishing I looked at the sofa. It had a dead doormouse on it. I swear it was not there when I started.
Freya spent the entire day looking innocent and sleeping on the towel I put ready for my guest.
I still cannot figure out how she got the mouse to the sofa without me seeing, but it is better than her previous party trick of dead squirrels under the table.
Then Freya walked over the laptop. Whatever keys her paws landed on made it talk. I had no idea it could and it took ages to figure out how to turn it off.
Now I have a clean house and plenty of food, but my guest unwell and cannot come.
Oh well.

Meow from Freya's #1 protege, Huckleberry the Cat, Kitty Blogger!
My mama was wondering how I got to be so smart. Now she knows: It's Auntie Freya's fault.
Love, Huckleberry the Cat

Dearest Hucks, I am so proud to be responsible. In fact so happy I think I feel a mouse hunt coming on. Love from your Auntie Freya the Catblog Cat.

We all do that. Don't we, giving our house a special treat expecting guests. No doubt your guest did not turn up but your house got a makeover

If I could just capture the moment on video I could probably go viral on youtube. I always miss!

Our cat almost walked on my mother's keyboard and it talked. It took us about a hour to get it fixed.
