Life without MONEY

Have you ever thought that if money didn't existed then how did we were able to live our life... From my point of view it'll be such a boring life without money as there will be no competition and no one will even want to work each and every person will become lazy and will wish that someone should put the food in there mouth...

That's not how I'd live. I'd refinish wood stuff for people. I'd plant gardens and share what I grow. I'd teach kids to play baseball (or cricket), and I'd play and teach music. If others are productive too, we can all share and live without money.

Yes, we all have skills that we could trade for other things. A person just has to be creative. There are always ways to succeed in this crazy world.

@Bhavygupta Yes, of course I've thought it through. If we had no money, and those who love to work worked their tails off, while others who are lazy or have no skills just leech off of those who work, we'd have...exactly what we have anyway!

I don't think that people would become lazy. Just my opinion. I think there would be a "bartering" system of some sort and its already being done here where I live. You trade something you have for something that someone else has. I sold jewelry for many years and retired recently. In the meantime, I had accumulated a lot of jewelry, so I began to trade it for other things. I have traded it for clothes, for massages, for house cleaning, and for several other things. You can also trade your skills. I belonged to a bartering group.

@TheHorse Good for you. Bartering really works, I think. Your speakers look very well done.

I often do that with my speaker refinishing. I bought my Acoustic Research AR-3as for only $280. I refinished them, and then bartered (speaker refinishing for electrical work) get the insides working 100%. Now they're worth $1000.

You might change your mind about this if you really understood bartering.

What you say may be partly true. But don't you know that money is the root of all evil.

The Bible doesn't say that "money is the root of all evil." It says that the "LOVE of money is the root of all evil." There is a BIG difference. That scripture is OFTEN misquoted. Money is a good way for odrer but the thing that could make life better is if people weren't greedy about it. Lower the prices and put more jobs out thier instead of companies and rich curpution.

@happy1305 But nowadays people just think about themselves and can even murder someone just to earn money... And lowering of prices is still a dream for many as many companies just want to earn more and more profits without thinking of there customer pockets

no, I think one would have to work harder. they would have to have a craft or perhaps farm and to get the other items they need. they would have to barter the goods they create or get from their farm. Barter instead of money. some people still operate this way a lot.

Thanks for your raising the meaningful discussion. Reading through the responses, I am really touched by the seniors, who share their encouraging experiences. I believe you can also learn from it, but for the immediate future, you have to get refreshed to show what you can and gain what you deserve. No pain, no gain, as it says. Wish you good luck.

There would have to be some sort of bartering system. Right? Otherwise how would we get goods? I agree that we probably would get lazy if we were handed everything.
