Content idea for my Youtube channel

My vlog channel has gone pretty stagnant, and I've been thinking of ways to revive it so that I can hopefully grow my subscriptions. Because my channel doesn't focus on one thing in particular, one of the ideas I had was to focus on a particular topic each month, and make my videos for every month a different theme.
For instance, one month I'll focus on doing movie reviews for a specific genre, then the next month I'll make videos about serial killers or something. Haha Idk.
Do you guys have Youtube channels and, if so, what are they about?

I will say stick to your genre. It will be good for you. By the way if you are new I am just focusing on uploading videos and no subscribers.
