Benefits of Roof Gardens

There more benefits of having Gardens at our roof top. Here are the few:
1. The Greeny gardens at the roof protect our house from direct heat of the Sun.
2. It serve as a way to handle our stress.
3. Additiona insulator on the roof.
4. It provides shades and produce oxygen.
5. It reduces the Air-conditioning cost
6. Reduce city “heat island” effect
7. Organic farming possibility and etc.,

@lady1993 Desert rose like plants can also be cultivated for the busy people. Adeneium flower plant does not require more waters. Just keeping them moist state is enough.

Good points. I like this idea. But houses in the big cities are angular and do not allow such types of roof to most houses with the exception of the tall tower penthouse apartments in downtown areas.

Gardening is indeed so relaxing and makes the house look beautiful. I have around 100 planters all in my three balconies and I tell you its the best place of the whole house. We spend our morning sitting in the balcony and having tea there.
