The Horse injured in tragic cycling accident

I think my young friend thought he was a cop, and chasing me. I gradually pulled over, but he forgot where his brakes are and ran into me hard, tearing a lot of flesh off of my left calf.
I could tell immediately, without looking, that it was going to bleed pretty much, but that it was a superficial wound. I've played enough softball that I have a protocol for such injuries: wash the area, pour hydrogen peroxide over the wounds (ouch ouch), and let nature take its course.
It was by design that I didn't get mad but let the blood trickle down my leg. He said, "It's bleeding a lot." I said, "I'll be OK, but never tailgate me like that again." Lesson learned for both if us, I suppose.

@optimisticbeauty Hmmm... I don't think you can tattoo a pony, can you? Horses usually get branded!

LOL! I just told @Corbin5 that you want the blood to stay inside the veins until you get hungry!

Oh owie-oomie @TheHorse . Why is it that learning lessons always requires a boo-boo?

@TheHorse Probably. I think him seeing your blood may have been an eye-opener.

@nanette64 That's my thought too. That's why I just let it bleed and didn't say anything. We kept cycling. I did calmly ask him "what he'd learned" later.

@TheHorse was just waiting to see if you'd volunteer to be his "manager" and schedule private bookings for him! (He says doing shows three times a day, every day is just too much work!)
Hmmm.... now I am wondering how much you should charge for the private shows and how much I get for making the suggestion of you being his booking manager?!

@Plethos Hmmm... do you call him that to his face, Plethos? LMFAO!
That might be true, but would that matter, other than we'd be taking advantage of a friend... (And now, see what you did? I was okay with accepting a bit of the largess until I thought a bit harder about my role, here. *sigh!*)
Oh, well, easy come, easy go!

@TheHorse -- it's what my dermatologist tells me to use after he burns moles off.

@FourWalls Moles are so cute. They're virtually blind and will dig while you sit there and watch them.

Well, usually pony says bike riding is healthy, pgn! (I didn't see him saying that in this discussion, that's true, though! )

@JamesHxstatic I have a cute picture from the half-way point. He looks like one pouty kid. I'll see if I can find it.

As my grandmother always said "it's a long way from your heart." Just keep it clean and covered and you'll be fine. LOL.

Owie. That's what you Mad Bikers get. It was kind of - insert cleaner word here than I did --for the guy to tailgate you like that, though.

Ouch. Those wounds always look worse than they are.
My granddaughter was so upset when grandma was attacked by a Hawthorne tree.

@TheHorse the are brushy trees, with an apple like fruit. It's the nasty 2-3 inch long thorns that stick out like nails. I'm not sure if they are considered a hardwood....I try not to get too close.

@spiderdust Well, I don't want to lose muscle, tendon, or ligament. So far as I can tell, I still have all of my limbs. I'm good with that.
