I have unexpectedly seen a post where certain simple techniques have been shown to avoid messy things during our day to day activities. We generally paint with a brush. After dipping the brush in a paint we take it along the edge of the container. It spills here and there. Most of it will drip from the edge of the container. The best way to avoid such inconvenience is to keep a rubber band over around the container. When the brush is dipped in the paint the brush can be taken out touching the rubber band and the paint will fall inside the container only. I liked this simple hack and applied it today for my painting work.
