Did you have the spot after you turned out the lights? If so, I think that is normal. In fact, I get a lot of entertainment out of playing with the spots behind my eyes when I turn out the lights. I will close my eyes and try to follow them and they cascade into rivers of pretty shapes or float and merge with others. I get a good 2 minutes of that when I'm in the mood for it.

I turned off the light and it was not to long after that it started happening. thanks for telling me its a comfort to know its not anything serious .:)

@happy1305 Well, talk to your doctor next time you see him or her, but everyone I've ever talked to says the same thing. It's quite entertaining, try to dive into the black spot and see all the beautiful patterns next time you go to bed!
