meet me in the corner by the dusty cobweb

I am watching a spider crawling up the wall across from our bed.
She isn't a BIG spider; she has a tiny body and very long skinny legs. Perhaps she is a model? If so, she needs to work on her style and technique. She's off-balance and a little clumsy.
Maybe she's simply a bit drunk.
I am not keen on spiders but I don't mind this one. She seems to be perfectly harmless. She isn't wearing a thick winter coat and nor is she scuttling and whizzing around like a F1 driver on acid.
She has reached the part where wall meets ceiling now, and she is resting. Oh, she's on the move again. I wonder what she's thinking. Hmmm ...she appears to be getting bigger. And nearer. It is possible that I may change my mind about how much I truly mind her. When she was moving away from me she was delightful. Now I'm pretty sure she's teasing me ... oh, she jumped. Well, she fell. About three inches.
I think I might turn the light out now. If I can't see her it is possible she will cease to exist.
Nightie-Night.
{I stopped watching her for a full thirty seconds and now she's disappeared. If you never hear from me again, assume she ate me in the night.}

They're quite sweet really, as long as they stay at a pleasing distance.

@Poppylicious Precisely. And the artist's spider left no crevice unexplored, by the looks of it.
