do you watch movies in the theater or do you wait to rent them

i hear ya!.. and their popcorn has gone WAY down hill! lol .. really though more than 90% of theatres now buy bagged popcorn and put in the display case, rather than make it there at the theatre!

I only go to the movies once every few years. I'll wait and watch in when it comes out. It's way less expensive that way.

If it's something that I REALLY want to see, I go to the theater. Otherwise I get it on pay per view. The last movie I REALLY wanted to see was Finding Nemo.

Same as you. I like going to the theatre if it´s a good movie, as special effects and music sounds much better in there. Otherwise, I prefer to rent them and seeing them at home, at bed, with something nice to eat!

I must make an edit! the IMAX theatre ROCKS!! i take my nine year old whenever i can! it's great (and 3D if you've never gone!) the gids love it.. it's a little over an hour from me so i dont get there too often ... but i took my son to see the Polar Express there last year and it was AWESOME!

I usally wait and rent it. Sometimes I just wait for it to come on TV and watch it then. I have seen a few movies though on opening day because I really liked them.
