Hoping everyone is having a great start of the new month! And even if it is not so good, just remember – that too shall pass, as they say…
What’s going on in May? Ah, it’s Mother’s Day in many places… I’m going to use this post to mark a little updates on what my sons are up to… For those who might find that to be boring, repetitive, or something that you could care less about, please consider yourself warned and you are free to leave this discussion. Sorry if I have wasted your time thus far.

For those who are still here, thank you and a little bit of background for those who might not know or have forgotten, I have four sons who are very close in ages and now in their late teens/early 20s.
My first born is now in grad school pursuing a master’s degree. Following his bachelor’s degree in Animation he accepted an offer for a place in Master of Animation and Visualization. I don’t understand much of his coursework but he seems to enjoy it which is the most important thing to me.
My second son has also graduated from an undergraduate course last year and he is now doing an apprenticeship position with the City Council. He seems to enjoy his working environment even if it pays just a very minimal wage. He has a couple more months to go with the apprenticeship and hoping that he will get hired permanently at the end of it.
My third son is still struggling to get through his undergraduate courses. He has always been the one who seems to have a hard time deciding what he wants to do – be it in sport activities, non-school or work activities, as well as what he wants to major in college. His parents never force him to do anything, he’s free to decide on his own but we do give him advice, supports, and directions.
My baby is on his third year in college. He has always been a very serious student. I don’t remember ever worrying about him academically. He studies, works hard on all his school works, and the results show up on his grades and achievements. In college he has surprised when I was about to pay his tuition and the college admin told me there was actually a credit on his account. Turned out, he was automatically awarded partial scholarship due to his grades. He never said anything, so I had no idea.
Okay, enough of my bragging. I better stop before any of you feels sick from reading it.
Happy May!

Thank you!
I'm aware different members have different opinions about discussion topics and there is nothing wrong with that... Just thought I'd safe them from wasting their time reading something they may not care about, hence the early warning...

@sishy7 I forgot the for the parents who have done a wonderful job in raising them . As parents I guess we will forever worry about our kids? A friend once said we made it this far the way we did, so we should trust they have their own plans and they will get there too .

Thank you for to each of them! I worry about them all the time, I worry that I won't be able to be there for them in their time of need, and I worry not knowing exactly what their future will be. But hey, I can only do the best I can and I trust the rest would be taken cared of somehow...

@infatuatedbby Probably not soon... The second one has been going out with the same girl since high school... But they are both still very young and seem to be enjoying just being young right now...

Your children are doing great. My daughter graduates with her Masters in December and will get the certificate in May 2018. The time goes by so fast.

Oh, I thought you knew - I talked about them a lot on Bubblews... Yeah, they're all grown up now, although it doesn't happen a lot anymore, but I like it when I walk around with all four of them... It feels like I'm surrounded by bodyguards...

@responsiveme Trials and errors are part of learning and growing up... We all go through them... I just remind my sons to always do and try their best - more importantly, to never stop trying no matter what...
