Okay guys, I have a problem. I took time out to make sure my husband had a hot meal when he got off from work. Instead of eating what I cook he proceed to eat cereal. I cook for him and not for me because I don't need to eat that late in the day. If I don't cook then he get upset like I don't cook. When I do cook he might eat or not. What should I do guys? I need some help on resolving this situation. Tired of getting my feelings hurt.

Maybe you need to sit him down and get some ideas on what he will eat. If he does not eat what you fi who eats it,

Yea I know what he likes. I cook the same things over and over because he is so picky. So it's not something that I never cook or something that he don't eat. I just don't know if he is going to eat or not. Then I think he do that to mess with me.

I think it is a habit of most of the males. You can ask him in the evening before preparing the meal. i hope it might help.

Will try to do that more often. Usually he will say it doesn't matter!

@anamika has a good suggestion. Ask him what he wants and cook accordingly

My husband is the same. When asked if he is going to be home for dinner, he said no. I cook for others and then he comes home early so I needed to quickly cook for him. So now I just need to prepare everything, if he's home and want dinner I will cook for him, otherwise it can be put away for tomorrow. I know it is annoying but as a wife what can we do, especially when we love our husbands and want to be the best wife ever.

Have a one on one talk with him and tell him how it makes you feel when he does not eat what you cooked for him.... now me on the other hand would have took my old man and popped him upside his head .... LOL...JJ

You should try asking him what he wants to eat for breakfast yesterday night or when he wakes up in the morning. Everyday, I would ask my hubby what he wants to eat before I prepare , otherwise waste the food

Did you ask him why he did not eat your cooked meal?

I agree with Chris, I think he has another reason for not eating and acting like that, perhaps harboring some kind of anger, or stress from something he doesn't let us know ! I don't think it has anything to do with the food !

No I didn't ask him. He does that from time to time. Same meal will be for dinner today. He might eat it today.
