"Speak your truth quietly and clearly..." says the 4th line of the poem "Desiderata" by Max Ehrmann. Are you speaking the truth? Are you speaking the truth quietly and clearly? Why there is a need to speak out the truth quitely and clearly? Almost everyone of us seek the truth, whatever truth means to our life. Did you already find the truth in your life or are you still searching for the truth? Photo from: http://www.theculturegroup.net/blog/speak-the-truth-in-love/

I think that no one really likes the truth alone..the exaggeration makes them believe in the truth you are saying..

@jstory07 Yes, everyone should speak the truth but those that do cannot expect to be loved by the masses. The truth has never been popular.

@BabyRai1 Very true! The truth in this world in not popular and so if one wants to live the truth they must be ready to be unpopular to the masses but will be appreciated by the few who also love the truth. But they will be loved by the only One that really matters and that is by the Almighty God, the God of truth and for whom it is impossible to ever lie.

@BabyRai1 You are right and we wonder why people are so afraid to speak the truth; when in fact juts saying the plain truth is so easy.

I am convinced I have found the truth and so I must speak it and I must live it to the best of my abilities. Can I live the truth perfectly? No! Can I be a pleasant neighbour? I can try!

It is important to speak the truth and speaking quietly and clearly make you more trustful. Those who exaggerate are never trusted.

My favorite part of the poem is You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. I did a cross stitch of those words for a friend's new baby years ago.
