My sister sent me this picture. This was bear that was sitting in the tree behind her house. She said he took and picture and run back in the house. lol
Do you have black bears whwre you live? Have you ever seen one up close? I have seen a few of them but never stopped to take their picture.

I have tossed a bear into a barrel once (it was muscle relaxed at the time). I have knocked one out of a tree (it was sleeping and I was being loud, and it fell out of its tree). I have called one like a dog and it stood up on its hind legs and smacked a nearby tree to tell me not to make fun of it. I have seen baby bear cubs without their mother and took pictures from far away before going back inside. I have pulled the neighbor's dog into my house because of a bear outside at the time. And many other bear stories. I'm used to bears.

@ramapo17 I was walking around the barn yesterday and found a bear footprint in the mud. I can see the barn easily from where I am typing this, so the bear was probably walking outside of my window one of these nights.
The deer never try to come in my place though.

Me too @OneOfMany. I had all kinds of wild life in my yard and a few deer tried to come in my house. At one time I had about 13 of them in my front yard.

@Lupita234 The black bears in the states only get very aggressive if they are hungry. We always had them in the yard and we would talk to them. We never went near them but we both knew each other was there. The deer get aggressive to if you bother their babies.

@Lupita234 It's good. Quite a few parts are really flooded. It's not good. But thankfully not too bad where we are.

@Lupita234 I am very surprised because the Bear is the animal symbol of the Swiss capital, Bern.

That is the same with the black bears. They only attack if they feel threatened or someone is near their cubs. My friend use to sit on her deck and read and when the bear would go near her deck she would just tell them to go away and they did. They never tried to attack us in our yard either. They were trying to get the berries from the bushes.

@Lupita234 only if anyone is lazy and doesn't take care of their food.. They only bothered us once and I wrote about that... we rarely see one now and they stay away from the humans.

@Happy2BeMe There were some at the campgrounds when we were there but they never bothered out RV. Our neighbor told us the bear cleaned off the table during the night.
