Being always in limelight is itself a intoxicating feeling for many people from all walks of life. It is almost like a cult status which garners recognition and adulation from society giving them a demi-god status.
The celebs are looked upon with awe and astounishment and also aping them as role models by few. But the current status of being a person of recognition does not come overnight, but through severe perseverence and hard work involved in it. For example, when we see a beautiful swan swimming on the serene and calm water, is a pleasant scene to look at and enjoy its beauty. But nobody observes its relentless paddling underneath the paddling to keep it afloat. This stands a symbolic for the famous people also.
Everybody applauds their glamour and affluent status associated with them, but no one acknowledges the hardship and struggles they endured to get the present situation. As every situation has both pros and cons, there are always various angles to a person which looks different from diverse perspectives.
For instance, if we take the example of Mr.M.S.Dhoni, the famous ex captain of indian cricket team is a classic example of rags to riches story. Being born and bought up in mediocre middle class family, he has strived very hard to make a mark for himself with his unique batting style and in maintaining a diplomatic captaincy. He stood as an extempore iconic person with class and distinction making a very important chapter in the history of indian cricket.
But as the saying goes " Every coin has two sides"..exactly in the same manner, every thing is not rosy in the lives if celebreties also. The most expensive sacrifice they have to pay in their lives is to forego their privacy. With constant media glare abd attention, they are vulnearable at the most critical and crucial moments when they need to be away from public gaze. Their life becomes an open book which is always under the scanner with various assumptions and unrealistic expectations.
It is both a boon and bane condition for these celebs, as the public image created gives them immense recognition but at the same time will also be critically judged and evaluated at the drop of the hat. All that glitters is not gold, and every smiling face is not an indication of a happy and content life and at the same time, every dim face is not an sufferred soul. So, in a better way we can say that the life of celebrities is an classic example of pleasure and pain embodied together.

Being a celebrity is a choice for the most part. I for one do not adore people just because they are celebrities

One needs to put in a lot of effort to be there and a long as one is in it the struggle continues every moment and the moment it stops they will be dumped
I like keeping a low profile.
