My maternal house is getting renovated some parts are done (as it's too big like hounted houses in movies) and some are on progress. The result is it is started looking awesome but my mind is stuck.. stuck with the thoughts of previous one as I have my good memories with that old type home.i don't want this.. I know it's stupid thought but can't help it. What you say.

Why to change actually it lost its old palace like look and now it's as if I am going to some hotel room.

This is the house you grew up in right Shweta?
Is that the one?
Yes the memories for you are strong there.
It was like an old haunted house?

@TiarasOceanView ya and me too. Deep affection with that house. Those old antique looks are gone now that plane with sophisticated design is there.

Actually it's so big and structured so complicated. Once you enter you will find 2 or may be 3 doors to exit sometimes it used to become a puzzle for our guest to move out I.e. which one will let them go outside not to another room.yes I have spent my childhood here with all lovely mango guava lemon trees.

You must have good reasons for this renovation. Once it is completed I am sure you will enjoy living there.

@Shwetasingh Was wanting it to look awesome the only reason for the renovations?

@allknowing ya it was. But it wasn't my choice. It was the opinion of my parents

Of course it has started looking awesome.. but sometimes awesome things don't attract you as you don't have any attachment with them. For me, I was to much attached with the previous look so trying to overcome it.

I cannot blame you because the sentimental value of the house is in your heart. Not only you but maybe most of us here.
