Eating the frog

I remember reading a book that said that doing the hard stuff first, eating the frog, makes you day flow more smoother. For me that's working out. What frog do you need to eat today?

Eating the frog? Biting the bullet, I think is the expression in English ;)

Although they both mean the same thing, the expression I read was eating the frog. I remember thinking that was an odd phrase.

@opinionated1 Not sure what language it comes from, but look at the pic, does the frog look as tasty as the salad...? ;)

I've never heard that phrase before. Mopping the floors. For some reason, that's the one I love to procrastinate. And it doesn't even take long to do! And then I feel so good about my day!

I've never heard of the expression mopping the floors, doesn't make sense to me either because like you I feel that doesn't take long, but I can see how it'd be coined a tedious tasks since you can't walk on the floors until it's dry, which may take a few minutes longer.

@opinionated1 We call it "mopping the floors" because we clean our floors with a mop. I guess I could just call it washing the floors, but that sounds like a lot more work than it truly is.
