Tell us when you feel people should have the rights and responsibilities of legal adults. Do you think mandatory service of some kind is a good idea? Do you consider yourself mature, or adult, right now? Do you think there is a certain age at which people should be considered adults, or is the whole idea flawed? Do you think the age of majority should be based more on brain science than on politics?

The fact that someone is a legal adult helps to behave like one. Most young people will learn to behave in a responsible way sooner or later. Some people will never learn. There are enough old fools around.

I think some people never do. I've come to realize that we may never become "adults" in the proper and intended sense of the word.

@cabhay It varies from country to country. Some country considers the age 18 to be the legal age; while for some other country it's 21 years old.
