It is a new kind of TV program. It broadcasts a program like train journey, animal movement, knitting etc. It is more like a live cam in my opinion. So you can imagine this TV program can last for a very long time. I wonder whether you will be interested in watching it. It may be relaxing to watch it, but I wonder whether it will be borning after some time

I might find it relaxing at first..I think it would get old though. I have a DVD of a fireplace I put on sometimes at Christmas. It is relaxing..I so need a fireplace. I have had them in the past, and miss them.

I have not heard about any such TV programme. It will depend upon the subject, if I will like to watch it.

Why? So many other interesting and faster paced things to watch.

Yes sometimes I do like something I watch for a good few hours, mainly nature shows.

There was an article about this on CBS Sunday Morning this morning about a station in, I think, Norway that started this. I think it's a "revolt" of sorts, an alternative to the cacophony of everything else on TV. Even the commercials have 40 camera angle changes in 30 seconds, and I think that people just want to settle down and watch something soothing.
There are a lot of "relaxation" videos on You Tube...eight hours of a waterfall, ten hours of rain in a forest, quiet music with a sunset, etc. Yes, I think everyone needs some serenity, and this can bring that.
