No woes. No worries. Doing what I want, when I want.
Partying or playing. Cooking or cleaning. Eating out or eating in.
Visiting friends. Visiting family.
Shopping or napping. Reading or writing.
Traveling or hanging.
Eating or exercising.
Walking or riding.
Being a homebody. Being a social butterfly.
These are just some of the wonderful things that retiring early from a choice career can bring.
I love my life! How is yours going?

I didn't have a choice about retiring, but now I'm glad I got laid off when I did. It took awhile to adjust to sleeping in until 6a.m., though.

I gave up my job midway and did so many things that I would not have been able to if I continued working. - went on my first foreign holiday, learnt to swim, learnt computers of those days, learnt German, started my own company designing gardens, and last but not the least bossed over time.

@katsmeow1213 Your day will come, too. I ticked off the days my last year. I despised paperwork that interfered with teaching and my home life. Dealing with the public can be awful at times. I did that, too.

And myLotting ! Glad you're living it up!
I'm a mommy to 2 young kids . . . I won't be retiring from this anytime soon . But things are going well . . . now we have to plan what happens when we actually do get to retirement age!

@responsiveme No need to apologize. I hope this phase ends already. My husband and I don't like it, but we have to keep our big mouths shut.

Congratulations on your
early retirement I hope
you enjoy every minute
of it.
At the rate I'm going I
reckon I'll be working
til the day I die! If I'm
still working for this lot
I'll probably get fined
for croaking it on a
weekday without giving
notice...
Apart from money issues
and work I love my life :):)

Oh my life, I'm still in the thick of it all but I'm enjoying every bit of the action.
