Nothing Compares To You...

One of the things I don't like is comparing myself to others. Comparing oneself to other person is not fair to yourself. All persons are unique individual in his or her way. Everybody has its own personality. I am who I am...I just want to be me...
Think about the message of the line in the poem "Desiderata".
Do you often compare yourself with other people around you? For what reason(s)?

Never... with age comes comfort. Maybe when I was young but through life I was too busy living it than wondering if I was missing something. Jealousy is not pretty, and when I wake up in the morning I enjoy my own life. It truly is the only one we get right now so we need to love it.

I've always considered myself less than others, although I don't really know why. And so yes, I used to compare myself to others in so many ways. These days, I've come to realize that I really do like the person that I am and I've stopped comparing myself with other people. That never makes me feel good and it's time to be nicer to myself.

Yes sometimes. As its just a natural thing to do. Especially when you've been bullied and treated like crap.

Each person is unique.
Sometimes people are jealous of other people,
Because they don't have the same.
So they compare themselves to them.
But I dont understand why?
Each one has a unique thing that the other have not
The title of your post reminds me a song I think it was publish in the 90's :

Comparisons are never a good form of education; they should only be considered as examples of learning
