What a concept. This is a commitment to prioritizing and valuing oneself in self love and care. It is also called sologamy. People actually have wedding ceremonies declaring to family and friends. One lady did this because she was tired of people asking her when she was going to get married.

Yes, that is for a new day. There is no divorce from oneself I wouldn't think.

I thin that it is not something for everyone but, for those who are going through some spiritual enlightenment it might be something for them.

It's just for certain situations. Like this lady who kept being asked when she was going to marry. She wasn't interested in getting married to anyone so she held this ceremony to signify she was happy with herself and didn't need to get married to anyone.

I kind of like the idea... even if you are married, you should care for yourself as if you were all who mattered!!

such things do happen in the society. The society must feel ashamed of it.

Why does the society need to feel ashamed. This is a self worth ceremony. Has to do with individual growth and a spiritual path. I see nothing to be ashamed of.

I think it makes a lot of sense too. Too many lose their identities when they get married I think.
