Im really impressed with this site.... i'm finding it really enjoyable, I love to discuss interesting subjects but ive never had someone to discuss them with... now i have all of you! yay! am I dreaming or something? Im currently at work on my lunch break and was reading this online artical about the death penalty and peoples views on whether they feel it is an effective punishment, lots of people were agreeing and saying yes, as they feel the punishment is that they are rid from out world preventing more crime and bad situations but my honest opinion..... no, it isn't effective - I see it as the easy way out.... Am I being mean? or do others feel this way too?...

There's always pros and cons in that issue of capital punishment is all I can say.

Hmmm yes for sure, I just feel like that is no punishment... they are not living to learn from their mistakes? Nor to make up for them....

Yes it's effective as people fear of doing heinous crime due to it.

Great way of putting it, It just makes me sad that killers, for example, can kill innocent others and just get the punishment of their own life being taken too.. i dont feel like that gives them the chance to feel remorse like they should! But, yes - I suppose they are rid from our society!
