"Baseball is the only sport in which the team that is winning must continue to play the game." Without a doubt it takes alot of mental work to play this game. It takes Pure intelligence, Strategic planning, and requires Logical thinking. Baseball is similar to chess in that you have to properly execute each Move because it will affect the Next player. Not only do you have to visually map Point A , Point B but you have to maintain Perfection in each play. In addition, keep a mental note of the opponents Position and cover each destination safely. Many can argue there are more difficult Sports but when you play Baseball you have to keep Stamina and Integrity at all times. Timing is everything you have to make sure every player is secured before you can rest. Baseball is a really psychological sport and takes Patience and critical thinking once told to me by an old Softball coach. You have to have Courage and enough endurance hence Starting to maneuver effectively. Youre constantly thinking all the time..... Each step you make is Crucial towards winning! You have to outwit your opponents by properly executing a game plan before you even play.Techniques are extremely resourceful in this game although comes with experience.Theres no doubt in my mind that this game takes planning and lots of concentration.Baseball is an Contagious game & Lots of Fun but although it look easy its alot more than hitting a ball and running its a deep thinking game and probably one of the most mentally challenging game I enjoy. In conclusion, Baseball is probaly one of the Smartest sports on my list, And there are tons of Reasons Why, besides their Networth Alone..... Tell me your thoughts of Baseball and its level of intellect? Or your Smartest top Sports and Why????Do you think baseball is considered an smart sport?

Baseball is the most difficult game. I heard a football player once say the hardest and scariest thing in sports is looking at a fastball coming at you 100 mph and try to hit it with a stick. Michael Jordan played baseball for two years and wasn't any good at it and you know what a physical athlete he was. You have to know signs, positioning, the tendencies of 100s of opposing players etc.

Well I've not yet played baseball ...and I think baseball and cricket both are being played with a bat and ball.. cricket is the most famous and liked sport in my country..at the same time my favorite sport is foot ball..so I think football is the smart sport..
