It looks good! Rag quilts are very easy to make on a sewing machine. You can buy books on them that make it fairly simple. Also crocheting is not difficult.

Awesome job!! Tell your husband thank you for his sacrifice from the Gaylor family in South Carolina. Also, thank you for your sacrifice and support of our troops. God Bless you guys. (sorry to get mushy, but I like to thank our troops and family when I can)
This is my sons first Christmas and I am making t-shirts with his handprints and feet prints on them for his grandparents and uncles and aunts. If you have children, that might be another simple, sweet thing to do.

The blanket came out great, what do you mean you are not crafty. Scrapbooking is a fun way to show your pictures. There is no right or wrong way to do it.

From the small picture, it looks beautiful. I am also very interested in crafts. Before marriage, I used to do many handcrafts like embroidery, crochet, cross-stitch, wallhangers, fabric painting etc. Now, I have 2 children to take careof and I feel I do not have the patience for it.

Great job on the blanket. I find jewelry to be quite easy and it's a great way to get some friends together and create some interesting pieces. Check out your local bead shop for some great ideas. Your local craft store has some great ideas as well and give out free "how to" pamplets. It helps pass the time and a good way to show off as well. Good luck to you.

wow, what a great job, is that a Christmas present for your hubby? I am trying to make a quilt for my daugher for Christmas. She loves Dolphins, so I am doing some applique. I hope it turns out OK, I'll send you a picture when I am done.

The blanket is very nice.
I like the color very much.
I remember that when I was young, I had something similar.
Good work, I'm sure you will do bettter on your next attempt.
I will not be able to do something like this on my first try.

I think it looks great! Where did you get the front for your blanket? I made a Bears (the football team) blanket from fleece, but they didn't have anything that big.

I have made cute bags from raffia ribbon, paper grocery bags, and fabric. I don't have the directions off hand -- at work. But you could easily find the directions by doing a search on decorative paper bags.
