I did not have my boys circumcised. I could not justify beginning their lives with pain. That was nearly 30 years ago and they did not give any anesthetic. I decided to let them make the decision for themselves. After all, it's their body and that's a big decision that can't be taken back.

@DonSean Well then, they can have the procedure done as adults. The process of birth is traumatic enough without putting a baby through that pain. Even if they used anesthesia there is the pain of urinating with a wound for days before it heals. No, sorry, my mind is not changed even though I understand what you are saying. I talked to my sons when they were growing up about it and they are happy as they are and happy that I let them decide what to do with their bodies.

My best friend's son isn't. Her doctor was Jewish and told her not to do it.

I am circumcise my self thus I'm in favor of circumsicion for its health and hygiene benifits.
